Nicole Persing-Wethington
Dr. Nicole Persing-Wethington is a Health Educator with the Michigan State University Extension Health and Nutrition Institute. She leads research and evidence-based programming. Nicole began her MSU Extension experience as a young 4-Her and went on to become a volunteer. She worked in the Children and Youth Institute before moving into the Health and Nutrition Institute. She supports Michigan State University Extension's fall prevention, mindfulness, and RELAX programs as lead/co-lead. Nicole is a Co-P.I. of a grant from the USDA NIFA Rural Health and Safety Education program to prevent opioid misuse in rural communities.
